64 THE SHOP MARCH 2021 \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ ccessorization trendsetter West Coast Customs has entered into an exclusive collaboration agree- ment with a local dealership to offer an array of customization packages to car shoppers. WCC will work its magic on the diverse vehicle line found at Los Angeles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, setting up an ancillary shop and showroom onsite at the dealer- ship's downtown LA location. "We are incredibly honored to be col- laborating with such a prestigious dealer- ship as LACDJR," said Ryan Friedlinghaus, West Coast Customs founder and CEO. "Their expansive product line lends itself to so many aftermarket options and we are able to do much of the work there at the dealership location, allowing customers a one-stop-purchase with a customization option." The working model is a first for both brands, and "we have hit the ground run- ning already, starting work on custom projects for LACDJR customers," he noted. The West Coast Customs Experience at LACDJR features exclusively custom- ized WCC vehicles on display—including some of the brand's well-known celebrity builds—and a working shop area. WCC x LACDJR exclusive merchandise is coming soon. LACDJR vehicles with completed WCC custom packages are also on display, highlighting popular aftermarket add-ons including wraps, wheel-and-tire upgrades and blackout packages, Friedlinghaus said. A variety of personalization options are also available. "We are fortunate to be selling iconic brands in an iconic market like downtown Los Angeles," stated Rinaldi Halim and Sean Hogan, LACDJR owners. "The brands we sell attract a consumer base that loves to customize their vehicles. We wanted to create an experience inside our dealership that allows the customer to feel involved in that process and decided West Coast Customs would be the best partner, given that it is nationally known and has a long history of publicized quality car custom- ization work and design in the industry." The duo believes that offering in-deal- ership customizing will set them apart in the new-car market. "Afterall, we are in Los Angeles—the epicenter of West Coast car culture."
