E ven during a pandemic, car designers and builders have unveiled a variety of inno- vative vehicle projects drip- ping with imagination and panache. Enjoy them as a celebra- tion of the motoring world, or allow them to inspire your next custom creation. Specialty builds, limited editions & one-of-a-kind creations. PROJECT VEHICLE SKETCHBOOK SPRING 2021 Pfaff Designs teamed with Tucci Hot Rods, Falken Tires and the Syracuse Nationals last August to host a Track Attack day at the scenic Pineview Autorun Country Club in LaFayette, New York, and ended up turning plenty of heads with Outkast, a race-ready Jeep Gladiator. Murray Pfaff reports the Gladiator per- formed flawlessly all day, with 440 horses pumping from the Pentastar V-6, thanks to additional pressure provided by Magnuson Superchargers and instant throttle response from the JMS Chip & Performance PedalMAX. Additional upgrades included Baer Brakes (6-piston brakes); BILSTEIN (shocks); Steer Smarts (suspension components); EATON Detroit Spring (lowering springs); MRT (per- formance exhaust); Rotiform (2-inch forged WGR rims); and Goodyear (Eagle tires). "I'm not going to pretend that this isn't a 4,500-plus-pound truck with a high center of gravity, but it did everything I asked of it all day long in an environment that it was never intended for," said Pfaff.
