C O M BY C H A R I T Y JAC K S O N W our swimming pool, so we started the process last October, calling pool plaster companies in our area to get a quote. Having your pool redone starts at about $11,000, at least in our area, so it's not an insignicant amount of money. Spending this much meant that we were looking for a company that had good re- views online, answered our phone calls, provided a professional quote, and had good communication. The rst company we talked to had good reviews and returned our ini- tial phone call timely. The company initially used Google Maps and some measurements we provided to give us a rough quote. Once they knew we were serious, they came out and met with us to take their own measurements, photos, and review options. Within a couple of days, they emailed a typed estimate with each part of the project spelled out along with options that they also explained over the phone. The second company we called also went the Google Maps route. When we said they were welcome to swing by at their convenience because they hemmed and hawed over the fact that we're on the far side of a neighboring town, they sounded inconvenienced. I'm not sure if Charity Jackson is co-owner of Visual Horizons Custom Signs based in Modesto, California. She has been in Success Through Service business since 1995, and has worked in the sign industry for over 25 years. You can visit her website at www.vhsigns.com. Earning repeat business by putting your customers first Taking the time to show the customer how we would remove the silicone around his windows to prep for this install helped seal the deal while estimating this wrap.
