Individual installer certification can increase an installer's status and provide instant creditability with customers, whereas business certication programs certify the installation company that performs all types of graphic installations. The process may include customer refer- ence checks, site interviews, and at least one installer successfully passing a test. Most training courses are broad in order to allow installers to learn most types of applications common in the graph- ics industry; however, some manu- facturers are changing that approach based off of rising demands within the market, such as consumer spending on personal vehicle wraps, and — increas- ingly due to the pandemic — mobile delivery/eets.
