24 THE SHOP OCTOBER 2021 Noise-Reduction Tape Design Engineering Inc. (DEI), Avon Lake, Ohio, presents its Boom Mat Tape that helps reduce vehicle road noise, sound system vibrations, rattles, dashboard plastic-to-plastic chafing and more. Use it to cover seams, fix leaks and to secure and protect cables, wires and lines. The easy-to-cut material conforms to a variety of shapes and adheres to any metal, aluminum, fiberglass or plastic material, as well as many types of foam padding and fabrics. Made from 2.5mm-thick butyl rubber with aluminum facing, the tape is offered in black and silver rolls. Racing Rotors Wilwood Racing, Camarillo, California, a division of Wilwood Engineering, presents improved titanium and hard-anodized aluminum Disc Brake Rotors for Sprint Car and Midget racing applications. Type III hard-anodized aluminum provides greater friction and extends rotor life. Titanium rotors pair a new proprietary finish with a redesigned slot pattern to improve friction, wear and high-temperature stability. Both lightweight titanium and aluminum rotors improve acceleration and handling by reducing un-sprung weight and rotational mass. Silverado/Sierra Suspension Kits Aldan American, Signal Hill, California, presents Road Comp Series coil-over conversion kits for 1999-2006 Silverado/Sierra applications. Made in the USA, the bolt-on systems are designed for an OEM-like fitment that offers the full adjustability of coil-over shocks in the front and the tunability of adjustable shocks in the rear. They lower the vehicle from 0 to 2 inches in the front, while the rear TruLine Series shocks are designed to work with factory-style rear leaf springs and use the OEM shock mounting locations. Off-Road Wheels ICON Vehicle Dynamics, Riverside, California, presents ICON Alloys Rebound PRO off- road wheels. Patent pending InnerLock technology uses a robust bead retention system to keep the tire bead secured to the wheel while also remaining fully DOT compliant, even at lower air pressures and on any terrain. The wheels are engineered to maximize caliper clearance and optimize positioning for unhindered suspension travel and steering function. Backspace and wheel offset dimensions reduce scrub radius, improving all-around handling and ride quality. Lifted Vehicle Upper Control Arms BILSTEIN, Poway, California, introduces new B8 Upper Control Arms, designed to correct geometry and increase suspension travel on lifted trucks and SUVs. Maintaining a full range of motion, the direct-fit upper control arms expand caster angles and improve ball joint pivot angles for more straight-line stability and greater wheel travel—all while providing greater strength and toughness. They feature 4130 chromoly tubular steel construction and are professionally MIG-welded with formed steel bushing gussets for strength. Tesla Model 3 Carbon Fiber Aero Kit Seibon Carbon, City of Industry, California, introduces a Carbon Fiber Aero Kit for 2017-'20 Tesla Model 3 applications, designed in collaboration with Turn 14 Distribution. The complete collection includes a carbon fiber trunk lid, hood, front lip, rear diffuser and side skirts—all developed to flow seamlessly with one another. The hood was created with motorsports in mind, drawing inspiration from the Porsche 911 GT2 RS hood. The trunk lid features an integrated lip spoiler. All pieces include a glossy clear coat finish.
