88 THE SHOP OCTOBER 2021 Dealerships want something they can turn over quickly. They don't want to sit on a vehicle for 60 or 90 days. We build our vehicle packages so that they move fast and can be quickly reproduced. We also do a lot of window tint, paint protection and vehicle ramps—that's prob- ably where our business is growing the most right now. Also, our powder-coating of wheels and blacking out of cars is a huge, growing business. How long does a typical job take? We try to offer same-day service on quite a few products. Other jobs can take anywhere from a day to three or four days, depending on degree of difficulty. Lifts, wheels and tires, and off-road accessories are good examples. Some of those projects, like simple leveling kits, can be done in a day. Others can take two or three days. When scheduling jobs, we have an employee who checks inventory to make sure all of the parts are there. We don't call a customer to bring in their vehicle if half the parts aren't in yet. Finding great employees is always a challenge, so the companies try hard to take care of the ones they have.
