OCTOBER 2021 THE SHOP 91 reasons we're successful is because of how much we give. What's the secret to the company's success? We're humble. We're gracious. We're always thankful and show gratitude for our customers and our ven- dors. There is no one person who is more important than another. And I think we strive to make sure that our employees always feel it, our customers always feel it, our vendors always feel it. This industry has been going for a long time. Technology may change some of the ways we do things, but at the end of the day the service business is still the same—you take care of your customers, you service them well, you give them good products, you back up your prod- ucts when they do fail, and you always strive to be better. Profitability is important, but it can't be the only thing that drives you. Our success is not tied to how profitable we are, but to the relationships we've built and kept over the years, the longevity of our employees and the years of work with our vendors. It's about growing a family and a community to make things better as a whole. What's your parting advice to other shops? My overall advice is to be gen- uine. Be real. Also, don't over-promise because you'll always disappoint. People write it off as a cliche some- times, but there's a reason why Joe picked the name Integrity. I can honestly say that as a business, we try very hard to live up to the name. Integrity is what you do when no one is looking, and we try to treat all things that we are involved in with integrity.
