The limited-edition new design allows for the spindle-mounted center to stay in place on the spindle while the outside rim and mounted tire can be removed and changed for different setups. Titanium bolts hold the center to the rim. The 15-by-3.5-inch Alumastar and 15-inch RT-S wheels are available in limited quantities for a limited time. Cougar Chassis Schwartz Performance, Woodstock, Ill., offers its bolt-in, full-frame G-Machine Chassis for 1967-'70 Cougar applications. The chassis provides a solid base for the uni-body Cougar with a frame design that increases rigidity by replacing the front end components and factory cast iron steering gearbox along with the heavy leaf-spring rear suspension. The front suspension features upper A-arms fit with needle- bearings and is engineered with separate camber and caster adjustments (without using shims). The G-Machine accepts late-model powertrains. Camaro Front-Drop Springs Detroit Speed, Mooresville, N.C., presents its Front Drop Springs for 2010-up Chevrolet Camaro applications. The springs have an increased rate and lower the ride height, providing Camaros a more aggressive stance. They are a direct replacement and retain the factory isolators. The Detroit Speed Front Drop Springs have a spring rate of 220 pounds per inch, as compared to 156 pounds per inch for the OEM V-8 SS and 145 pounds per inch for the OEM V-6. Fast-Ratio Small Box Pro-werks, Mears, Mich., presents the latest update to Stiletto Steering Systems, a "Fast Ratio" Small Box Rack and Pinion. Utilizing FEA engineering, the new Magnum Housing design is 35-percent stronger without weight penalty. The increased rigidity and torsional stiffness of the precision CNC-machined 2024-t4 provides a stronger foundation for gear alignment in abusive applications. The systems are outfitted with Stiletto signature lifetime boots and are available with a choice of Clevis ends or Aurora VCM rod ends. Made in the USA. Tablet Computer Scales Longacre Racing Products, Monroe, Wash., presents its ComputerScales XLi on a tablet that brings new technology for chassis setup when scaling. The scale was designed from the ground up as a tablet-based system and is totally wireless. The signal is sent directly from the pads to the handheld 7-inch, full-color, high-resolution tablet. Users can customize the screen and rotate the wheel weights and car icon to any position for easy viewing. Each scale system has the tablet included with the app pre-installed, so it's ready to use out of the box. SFI-Rated Flexplates PRW Industries, Perris, Calif., offers its PRW Platinum Series SFI-Rated Flexplates that are engineered to handle extreme performance applications and designed to take the punishment of today's high-horsepower engines. The 4mm-thick centerplate provides a solid foundation, and ring gears are precision-welded to meet SFI specifications. The flexplates have multiple torque converter patterns and are available for Chevy, Ford, GM, Mopar, Oldsmobile and Pontiac applications.
