Suspension engineering, computer analysis and CAD design were combined to offer strength, performance and ride height that blends street and race technology. New suspension geometry allows less static caster and wheel back-space to maintain optimum tire contact patch. The chassis offer near-zero (0.005 inches) bump steer, up to 30 degrees of steering angle and optimum Ackerman angles. Flex Fuel Pump Aeromotive, Lenexa, Kansas, introduces the E85-compatible Phantom Flex fuel pump to its existing Phantom lineup. The Phantom Flex provides easy installation in virtually any fuel tank, and offers 30-percent more flow than its 340-lph predecessor. The system also includes a larger foam and bladder design to feed the 450-lph pump and combat fuel slosh in many harsh driving conditions. Reliable and quiet, the new Phantom Flex provides a viable solution when using renewable energy. Classic Ford Brakes Wilwood Engineering, Camarillo, California, presents its new front Disc Brake Kits for Ford, Mercury, Thunderbird and Edsel models. Wilwood has developed four new kit configurations for upgrading the performance and styling of brake systems on classic late-1950s and 1960s-era full-size Fords, Mercurys, T-Birds and Edsels. Kits covering applications from basic driver upgrades to full-blown Pro- Touring-style big brake customs are now available for use with the original equipment drum brake spindles and several factory disc brake models. Express Sleeves Thermo-Tec Automotive Products, Greenwich, Ohio, offers its Express Sleeves easy-to-use sleeving. Featuring a high-temperature insulation material and a highly reflective Mylar foil with a Velcro closure, the sleeving is designed to provide maximum protection for wires, hoses and cables from the damaging effects of radiant heat. Simply pull apart the material, wrap around the wire and reclose the sleeving. Express Sleeves reflect over 90-percent of radiant heat and come in two sizes to fit 1/2- to 1-1/2-inch diameters in 3-, 12- and 50-foot lengths.
