January 2015 n Performance & Hotrod Business n 103 Power Stroke FICM Sinister Diesel, Roseville, Calif., presents its 58v Fuel Injection Control Module that replaces the Ford factory unit and boosts performance by increasing output to 58 volts. In addition, the FICM uses the latest Ford flash with built-in inductive heating for cold climates and reliable starting in any weather. The FICM has an added billet cover with increased cooling capabilities. The part is anodized Sinister blue and machined for a clean look. Power Wash VP Racing Fuels, San Antonio, introduces VP PowerWash, a powerful cleaner specifically formulated for the unique demands of powersports, R/C hobby vehicles and other applications. Available in three formulas—Moto, R/C and Super Concentrated—VP PowerWash features a concentrated dual-action detergent that rapidly dissolves caked-up dirt and mud, suspends and floats away dirt and grease and doesn't leave streaks or spots. Dyno Control & Data System Stuska Dynamometers, Sussex, Wisconsin, introduces the PowerPro T/A Control & Data System. The PowerPro T/A offers total automation—start the engine, reach oil temperature and then sweep, all with one click. Or take a more hands-on approach. With precision control of throttle and load, users can automate break-in and warm-up procedures. Engine mapping is simplified, and the system accepts up to 45 sensors. New features include Sweep Tracer for live comparison graphs while the test is in progress. Steel Flywheels PRW Industries, Perris, California, offers its SFI-rated Billet Steel Flywheels. CAD- engineered and precision CNC-machined to strict tolerances, the flywheels are balanced and carefully inspected throughout the manufacturing process. The forgings are 1045 billet steel and SFI-certified. Flywheels are available for Chevy, Ford, GM, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac applications. Intake Manifolds Edelbrock, Torrance, California, offers its Victor SB2 Intake Manifolds for use with Dominator carburetors and Chevrolet SB2 cylinder heads. The Victor series intake manifolds are ideal for large-displacement or high-rpm racing applications. Based off the popular Victor SB2 Spider intake manifold, the new 4500 series-compatible versions offer substantial power increases while maintaining lower rpm torque. The Victor SB2 small port is cast with extra material in the runners and plenum to allow for CNC porting to meet the needs of various racing applications. 1500cc Injectors DeatschWerks, Oklahoma City, presents the 1500cc DV2 injector, the result of over a year of development work directly with Bosch Automotive Aftermarket. The DV2 line of injectors is characterized by higher flow, greater precision and race fuel compatibility. Featuring Bosch EV14 technology, they offer a flow rate in excess of 1,500cc/min at 3bar using SAE testing standards and are flow-matched with the company's multi-point dynamic flow testing. Stainless steel internals provide compatibility with a variety of race fuels.
