January 2015 n Performance & Hotrod Business n 105 G-Body Full-Length Headers Hedman Hedders, Whittier, California, presents its 50-state emissions-legal Full-Length Headers for 1978-'87 GM G-bodies. The headers allow for increased exhaust flow and serious power gains. They are engineered to deliver maximum exhaust flow while maintaining the factory catalytic converter locations and A.I.R. injection, making them 50-state emissions-legal under CARB EO#D- 167-33 for vehicles equipped with 305-, 307 and 350-ci V-8 engines. They feature 1-1/2-inch primaries and a 3-inch ball- style collector. A-Body Tubular Lower Control Arms BMR Suspension, Seffner, Florida, offers its Tubular Lower Control Arms for 1964-'72 A-Body applications. Designed to reduce wheel hop, launch harder and add cornering consistency, the round-tube control arms are manufactured from 1.50-inch DOM tubing for increased strength over stock while remaining an economical option for improved handling. The arms use 2.0-inch greasable, high-durometer, spiral-fluted polyurethane bushings that provide a solid, more responsive feel, and retain the factory sway bar mounts. EVO High-Flow Fuel Pump AEM Performance Electronics, Hawthorne, California, introduces its 310-lph, E85- compatible High Flow In-Tank Fuel Pump for EVO X, WRX STi, R35 GT-R, FR-S/BR-Z and other applications. Designed for high-performance naturally aspirated and forced induction EFI vehicles, the pump features a compact, short body (65mm length) and is suitable as a universal application for fuel tanks with tight tolerances. A robust internal construction withstands the low- lubricity characteristics of ethanol and methanol fuels. Camaro Solid Rear Cradle Mounts Detroit Speed, Mooresville, North Carolina, offers its 2010-up Camaro "Revolver" Solid Rear Cradle Mounts. The cradle mounts completely eliminate undesirable wheel hop and drivetrain oscillations caused by rear cradle movement. They also improve the strength and rigidity of the rear vehicle structure, which makes vehicle handling more precise and predictable. The setup features black anodized aluminum mounts that lightly press into the stock rear cradle and are secured with a threaded lock ring. High-Flow Remote Oil Thermostat Improved Racing, Orlando, offers the FSM (Flow Series Motorsport) oil thermostat as a successor to its popular ENV series thermostat. The updated version features the same high-flow, patent-pending design of the original, with additional optimizations for quicker warm-up times and reduced overall dimensions and weight. The FSM thermostat is available in 165-, 185- and 215-degrees temperature ratings to suit applications ranging from engines to transmissions and differentials. The inlets and outlets feature interchangeable fittings. Up-Pipe Kits BD Diesel Performance, Abbotsford, British Columbia, presents its 6.4-liter UpPipes Kits. The kits include thick-walled exhaust manifolds that have the 90-degree outlet elbow cast design, replacing the stock thin-walled 6.4-liter feed pipe with its elbow that burns through quickly. BD manifolds hold in exhaust gas temperatures, enhancing turbine pumping efficiency, while the runners have been optimized to improve velocity and evacuate the cylinders. Manifolds are coated to resist corrosion and are pre-drilled for pyrometer probes.
