The company, maker of Fastway Trailer Products, is coming off its best sales year since the recession and hired Dar- rington to help support current growth. "Matt Darrington is a great fit for our company," said Rich Elliott, vice president of sales for Prog- ress Manufacturing. "He has 10 years of experience in the RV and automotive aftermarket, focusing on high-end aluminum ball mounts," "He knows the products, people and the marketplace well, and we are excited to have him and his expertise." Darrington will focus on introducing Fastway Flash Alu- minum Ball Mounts and the entire Fastway product line to suppliers across the U.S. Mickey Thompson Per- formance Tires & Wheels, Stow, Ohio has selected Dominick Wycoff as vice president of business development, reporting to company president, Chris Barbara. Wycoff has more than 17 years of experience in the automotive industry, last serving as vice presi- dent of market devel- opment for Terry's Tire Town of Ohio, according to Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels. He responsibili- ties included the maximization of customer share, as well as new business development. Previous role within the organization included regional management and sales leadership positions. AP Exhaust Technologies, Goldsboro, N.C., has hired Dan Billie as vice president of sales and marketing. Billie will report to CEO Vange Proimos. Billie will develop and execute AP's growth strategy as he assumes the role as senior sales executive. He will be responsible for managing the current customer base, new business development, sales forecasting, contract negotiations, competitive market analysis and manage- ment of AP's sales division. Billie also will have responsibility for marketing and cus- tomer service. A former CARDONE sales executive, Billie joins AP with nearly 20 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, according to the company. The board of direc- tors of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., Findlay, Ohio, recently elected Ginger M. Jones to vice president and CFO of the company. Jones succeeds Brad Hughes, who was appointed president of the company's interna- tional operations in July. J o n e s p r e v i o u s l y worked at Plexus Corp., a $2.3 billion electronics manufacturing services company with more than 24 facilities around the world providing custom design and manufacturing capabilities to the medical device, industrial, aerospace and defense sectors At Plexus, Jones served as CFO for seven years, having been named vice president and CFO in 2007 and advancing to senior vice president and CFO in 2011. Prior to joining Plexus, Jones was with Banta Corp. as vice president and corporate controller.
