(RTA): Are there any particular trends or changes that will affect your market seg- ment in 2015? (DG): OEMs are desperately trying to put the spotlight on increased truck sales. With innovations from Ford on the F-150 and the release of Chevy and GMC Colo- rado/Canyon, they are positioning them- selves for hopefully record sales. This in- flux of trucks to the marketplace will be a win-win for everyone. (RTA): What are some challenges re- stylers within your market segment face in 2015? (DG): Meeting demand and decreasing lead time will always be a challenge facing this industry. Companies that embrace this challenge will thrive and companies that kick the can down the road, so to speak, will not fare so well. (RTA): What are some ways restylers within your market segment can boost business this year? (DG): There is no substitute for excellent customer service and quality. Although these traits are built over time, they pay dividends both long and short term. (RTA): What products are important for our readers to stock in 2015? (DG): Consumers are becoming more and more accustomed to getting what they want right now. Partnering with a company that consistently fulfills those needs in a timely manner is priceless. 2014 COMPANY HIGHLIGHT: N-FAB Inc.'s major highlight of the year was moving to our new 150,000-square- foot building. We moved our headquar- ters to a sprawling 15-acre facility where we have our corporate offices, state- of-the-art manufacturing department, 27,000-square-foot power coating facil- ity, expansive warehouse, and advanced R&D facility. (RTA): How do you expect your market segment will per- form in 2015? THOMAs fICHTeR (Tf): N-FAB offers products in five key categories—Step Sys- tems, Light Mounting Solu- tions, Bumpers, Jeep Gear and Accessories—and we ex- pect continued growth out of each of these segments as we enter 2015. (RTA): Are there any particu- lar trends or changes that will affect your market segment in 2015? (Tf): New product applica- tions, including the 2015 Ford F-150, 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe/ GMC Yukon and 2015 Chevro- let Colorado/GMC Canyon will n-fab drive the market for most segments of our company. Innovation of new products and creative new designs will continue to drive N-FAB's growth in 2015. We feel the diversity in the design of offroad trucks will affect the market posi- tively. Diversity is growth. Consumers are not building the same trucks as they used to. Manufacturers like N-FAB are offer- ing multiple styles of parts for a single vehicle application, offering variety and creating new market segments. (RTA): What are some challenges re- stylers within your market segment face in 2015? (Tf): The biggest challenge we see would be stocking and offering the right mix of parts as the market evolves. Being able to offer the consumer what they want and when they want it is key. (RTA): What are some ways restylers within your market segment can boost business this year? (Tf): Today's customer wants what they want right now and for the best price. If the restylers either have the part in stock, or can get the part from distribution within 12 to 24 hours, the customer will be happy. Customers, in some cases, will even pay more for a hot part to get it first. If the sale is lost because the customer has to wait two to three weeks, likely the cus- tomer went down the street to the next shop to check price and ETA. Additionally, learning the product and being able to speak fluently and passion- ately about it is key when closing a sale. If the end consumer feels you know and be- lieve in the product, they are more likely to purchase it from you. (RTA): What products are important for our readers to stock in 2015? (Tf): All N-FAB parts! In all seriousness, retailers should be stocking top movers in each category. Top movers list can be received from manufacturers on a weekly or monthly basis.
