Lund International Holding Co., Bu- ford, Ga., has acquired all of the op- erating assets of Rampage Products, based in Corona, Calif. Rampage Prod- ucts produces accessories for the Jeep, light truck and SUV markets. Lund International is a portfolio company of Highlander Partners. Operations at Rampage Products will continue to be conducted from the Co- rona facility by executives Jeff Beck- man and Mike Deschenes, who both join the Lund International team. "This acquisition, Lund's fourth since Highlander acquired the company in 2011, reconfirms our strategy of ex- ecuting add-on acquisitions that en- hance and expand Lund's existing busi- ness and product offerings," said Jeff Hull, chairman of Lund and manag- ing partner of Highlander. "Consistent with the past, we plan to leverage the strength of our brand and distribution capabilities to ensure Rampage's prod- ucts reach even a broader audience. We continue to evaluate numerous other organic and M&A opportunities and expect to make additional acquisitions going forward." LUND INTERNATIONAL ACQUIRES RAMPAGE PRODUCTS PERRYCRAFT PRESIDENT SELLS COMPANY BEFORE RETIREMENT RIGID INDUSTRIES AND A.R.E. PARTNER PRODUCTS Perrycraft Inc., Winston-Salem, N.C., has been purchased by DWJ McCall Enterprises of Sparta, N.C. "Perrycraft will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of DWJ McCall Enterprises," said Donny McCall, presdent of DWJ McCall Enterprises, who now assumes the position of president and CEO of Perrycraft. Dan Epting, the presiding president of Perrycraft during the sale, is retiring after 26 years with the company. He served as executive vice president and general manager be- ginning in 1988 and as president and sole owner since 2006. He will remain as an advisor for the company for an undisclosed timeframe, according to DWJ McCall Enterprises. A.R.E. Accessories, Massillon, Ohio, has entered a joint marketing partnership with Rigid Industries, Gilbert, Ariz. The arrangement brings Rigid Industry's LED technologies to several A.R.E. products. A.R.E. Accessories recently announced the offering of Rigid Indus- tries' E-Series LED Light Bars as optional equipment on their fiber- glass MX Series truck caps. The MX Series truck caps sport an aero- dynamic raised roof design that provides extra headroom and storage capacity, and has a full walk-in door option for easy rear access. "Partnering with companies that take quality and details to new levels is what it's all about," said Dave Davis, vice president of sales of Rigid Industries. "All of us at Rigid Industries are excited to elevate the innovation with a company like A.R.E. Accessories." SLAMSTOP OPENS DOORS TO U.S. MARkET SLAMSTOP, a Singapore-based manufacturer of a soft-close vehicle door device, is expanding to the U.S. with a new head- quarters, distribution center and certified installer network. Michael Oakes, the new vice president of business devel- opment and sales at SLAMSTOP said the company's U.S. operations include the development of a Southern Califor- nia-based distribution and customer service center, as well as an installation facility. "Once our U.S. warehouse and offices are established, we'll be searching for the best installers from the East Coast to West Coast to build a strong, nationwide installer network," Oakes said. Oakes comes to SLAMSTOP with more than 27 years experience in the automotive aftermarket. His background includes posi- tions in retail management, independent sales and executive sales. His responsibilities at SLAMSTOP will focus on management of the distribution network to expand the product and create awareness about its ex- clusive features, according to the company. Oaks
