From those beginnings, PendaForm became the world's largest bedliner maker. Today, it makes products for all five OE truck manufacturers in the U.S. and Mexico. "We have bedliners for every make and model of pickup trucks going back to the early '70s," Wil- liams said. "This facility has a lot of room because our products are big. It's a pretty good-sized struc- ture and it has high ceilings. It works well for us." PendaForm also has other fa- cilities in Indiana and Mexico. In July 2013, PendaForm teamed up with Fabri-Form of New Concord, Ohio, a company that makes ma- terial handling products and parts for Class A truck interiors. "Things like bunks and in-cab components," Williams said. With the purchase of Fabri- Form, corporate headquarters was moved to New Concord. If you have a pickup with a bed- liner that carries the Ford, Chev- rolet, Dodge, Toyota or Nissan name, there's a good chance it was Tom Harvey fits the side of the bedliner into the le-hand fender. and a glimpse of the company's future. PendaForm has been in Portage since 1974. It started as a custom extrusion house. "We made a lot of extruded stuff with graphics on it for custom ap- plications," Williams explained. "It was used in applications, like gas station pumps, vending ma- chines and things like that." In 1994, the company split into two firms.
