14 n Performance & Hotrod Business n March 2015 SUSPENSION & BRAKES PRODUCT FOCUS: The performance aftermarket is all about never leaving well enough alone, and that's especially true when it comes to suspension and brake components. Race cars, hot rods, off-road vehicles—they can always be made to stop a little bit quicker or handle a little bit better. From pads and rotors to shocks, springs and sway bars, the following is a collection of some of the lat- est suspension and brake components for 2015. See which ones fit into your shop's comfort zone. Street Rod Shocks QA1, Lakeville, Minnesota, and Hollywood Hot Rods introduce traditional-looking Adjustable Shocks for street rods. The Hollywood Hot Rods Series shocks are offered in both front smooth body and rear threaded body and made of chrome- plated aluminum for a show-quality appearance. For a nostalgic look, the front smooth body shocks have a chrome-plated, bell-shaped dust cover. A low-profile slot-style adjuster allows a choice from 36 options of rebound adjustment with a comfortable compression setting. The shocks are serviceable and rebuildable. Leveling Kits Sinister Diesel, Roseville, California, offers its Leveling Kits, designed to provide maximum performance with minimal effort. The kits will level the front end of a truck with the back, so bigger tires and rims can be added. They are available for 1999-2010 Ford F-250 & F-350 and 1994-2012 Dodge trucks. The kits include two coil spacers and hardware, with no modifications required. Dodge Polyurethane Components Energy Suspension, San Clemente, California, presents its Performance Polyurethane Components, including applications for 2011-'14 Dodge Charger/Challenger models. Available parts include Energy's control arm, sway bar and steering rack bushings, as well as subframe and differential mounts. The components offer greater stability, improved handling and superior transfer of power to the rear wheels. They are durable enough for track demands and compliant enough for everyday driving, and available in black or red polyurethane. BMW Brake Kits Wilwood Engineering, Camarillo, California, present its new Aerolite Big Brake Kits for BMW E90 applications. The forged billet calipers are coupled with 14-inch/355mm rotors in a complete four wheel big brake upgrade package for 2007-'11 BMW E90 3 Series cars. Six-piston front calipers and four-piston rears deliver improved stopping power and styling for the road or track. Options for caliper finish and rotor style, with a full range of pad compound selections, simplify tailoring the kits to suit the style and braking requirements of any driver. Front & Rear Suspension Speedtech Performance USA, St. George, Utah, introduces the Track Time front and rear suspension package, engineered to provide the best possible combination of comfortable street cruising with improved track performance. The Track Time package includes a complete Pro-Touring performance subframe and front suspension, rack and pinion steering, coilover shocks and an award-winning torque arm that replaces the leaf rear suspension.
