18 n Performance & Hotrod Business n March 2015 Monobloc Caliper Baer Brakes, Phoenix, introduces the all-new Grizzly GR6, its largest monobloc caliper that will be the heart of the new line of Baer ultra- performance brake systems that will go into production in 2015 for a variety of specific applications. The GR6 is designed to improve the stopping power of today's modern vehicles—cars and trucks that come from the factory with large brakes, but still leave room for braking improvement. Featuring a monobloc design, the caliper is machined from a solid piece of aluminum, and features a six-piston design. Hydro-Boost Brake Booster Power Brake Service Co., Huntington Beach, California, is the only authorized distributor for new Bosch Hydro-Boost power brakes. The boosters run off of the power steering pump and need no vacuum. They can deliver up to 2,000 psi to the calipers at idle pump speed and accommodate many types of master cylinders. Due to their compact size, they will clear LS and tall deck engine conversions, even on Hemi-powered cars. PBS also offers powder-coat and chrome upgrades. GM Torque Arms BMR Suspension, Seffner, Florida, presents its Tunnel Mounted Torque Arms for fourth-gen GM F-body applications. Designed to improve handling, reduce wheel hop and add strength and adjustability, the factory-stamped steel torque arms deflect tremendously, even with mild amounts of horsepower and torque. Manufactured from heavy-duty, 1.25- inch, 0.120-inch wall DOM steel tubing and heavy-duty, 1/4- inch, laser-cut, CNC-formed steel plate, the arms add strength and adjustability, and are available in black hammertone or red powder-coat finishes. Truck Shocks Rancho, Monroe, Michigan, presents a new, larger RS5000X Shock series that helps deliver precisely controlled off-road performance to lifted trucks and sport utility vehicles. The series includes Cross-Tuned Technology, a new, unique valve design that allows for increased control and consistent ride profile with a larger shock body. The RS5000X has a large, 2.25-inch diameter reserve tube that delivers greater oil capacity and can enhance overall performance. It also includes a solid, 16mm nitro-carb rod to offer strength and durability for off-road driving. GM Adjustable Leveling Kits SuspensionMAXX, Bay City, Michigan, offers its MAXXStak Adjustable Leveling Lift Kits for GM 1/2-ton trucks and SUVs. The kits provide 2007-'15 Silverado/Sierra 1500 and Tahoe/ Yukon models with incremental lift heights of 2, 2.25 or 2.5 inches by inserting a combination of solid steel spacers and ultra-high-density polyurethane shims. An economical alternative, the kits retain OE shocks to keep the factory smooth ride. The 100-percent made-in-the-USA system includes all necessary parts and hardware, and requires no cutting or drilling. Colorado Air Spring Kit Air Lift Co., Lansing, Michigan, presents its RideControl Suspension Kit for 2015 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups. Designed to improve stability, safety and ride comfort when towing heavy loads, the adjustable air springs work with the existing leaf spring suspension to provide up to 2,000 pounds of load- leveling capacity. Air springs are designed to eliminate driving problems that occur under the strain of heavy loads, including squat, sway and bottoming-out. They also improve rough ride, body roll, and braking and steering.
