22 n Performance & Hotrod Business n March 2015 Steel Monotube Bulb Shocks AFCO Racing Products, Boonville, Indiana, offers its new 75-78 Series 1/2-inch-shaft Steel Monotube Bulb Shocks. Targeted at the open-wheel modified racing market, the shock program promotes better feel and improved grip. The smaller 1/2-inch (12.7mm) shaft displaces less oil when compressed, giving the shock an added advantage of less rod pressure gain, thus improving driver feel. AFCO Silver Series now comes with nickel plating that reduces internal friction and virtually eliminates internal wear. AFCO also designed a new and improved rod guide. Tahoe/Yukon Lift Pro Comp, Compton, California, introduces new Suspension Lifts for 2015 Chevy Tahoe/GMC Yukon applications. The 6-inch suspension kits make room for 35-inch tall tires on both 4WD and 2WD models. GM revamped the front suspension on the new Tahoe and Yukon, offering both aluminum and steel suspension components depending on the trim package. Pro Comp has different part numbers for the different applications, covering all Non-Auto Ride suspension options. Stage I retains the front struts with a spacer to economically add lift height. Ford Suspension Systems ARB 4x4 Accessories, Renton, Washington, offers Old Man Emu Suspension Systems, including applications for 2008-'10 and 2011-up Ford F-250 & F-350 models. Available components include: front and rear springs and shock absorbers, caster correction kit, radius arm drop bracket kit, track bar (Panhard rod) relocation kit, brake line bracket kit, sway bar bracket kit and bump stop spacer kit. Hydraulic Assist System Classic Performance Products (CPP), Placentia, California, presents its direct bolt-in HydraStop Hydraulic Assist Kits, designed to upgrade manual or vacuum- assisted brakes with a powerful and compact modern hydraulic assist unit. All CPP kits include a direct-fit, high-performance hydraulic brake assist unit. Using all new parts, it puts out 1,800 psi at the wheels. Two HydraStop systems are available: the Show Stopper and the Street Beast. Both kits include all necessary fittings and hardware for installation. Dodge 2003-'12 Long Arm Upgrade Kit Synergy Mfg., San Luis Obispo, California, introduces its Dodge 2003- '12 Long Arm Upgrade Kit, designed for customers who already have a Synergy Pre-Run kit or Synergy Starter System that want to upgrade to a Long Arm kit for improved on- and off-road performance. The kit was designed using OEM CAD files for fitment and enhanced vehicle drivability, and can be installed on anything from a completely stock truck to a 6-inch lift and 12-inch- stroke 3.0-inch-diameter shocks. Components feature a two- stage powder-coat finish for maximum durability. GM Lower Trailing Arms PST – Performance Suspension Technology, Montville, New Jersey, introduces its 1964-'72 GM A-body Catapult billet aluminum lower trailing arms. The new trailing arm eliminates many of the key issues that have plagued the rear suspension of these vehicles, including excessive wheel hop. The strong, light arms incorporate an Alu-Max Pivot Joint—a low-friction spherical joint that allows for 30 degrees of articulation for bind-free movement. They are compatible with any stock or aftermarket sway bar and offer lower 60- foot times and better cornering.
