March 2015 n Performance & Hotrod Business n 87 In-Tank Fuel Pump DeatschWerks, Oklahoma City, presents its DW100 In-Tank Fuel Pump, designed to offer high-performance reliability for daily drivers. The pump is engineered with a focus on low NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) and long life, and features a new motor with a computer-balanced armature and very low amperage draw. The specially balanced armature decreases noise by 14 percent over the company's DW200 in- tank pump. The low amperage draw (4.2 amps at 40 psi, 13.5 volts) generates less heat and significantly increases brush and commutator life. Mustang Exhaust MagnaFlow, Rancho Santa Margarita, California, introduces cat-back and axle-back Exhaust Systems for the 2015 Ford Mustang. The systems add a smooth, deep tone while increasing exhaust flow and power. The bolt-on kits have been engineered for maximum performance with dyno-proven results. Annoying exhaust frequencies are dampened with a dense wall of acoustical absorbing material, and the straight-through design prevents excessive heat retention, allowing the entire system to run cooler and last longer with no restrictions. Off-Road Wheels WELD, Kansas City, Missouri, presents its expanded line of REKON Off-Road by Weld Wheels. All of WELD's truck lines will now fall under the REKON Off Road by WELD brand, featuring products for on- and off-road vehicles including eight-lug applications. The line includes the forged one- piece REKON XT products, including Bead-Locs. Traditional truck wheels will fall under the REKON LT product line, and the company's direct-mount dually wheels will become the REKON HD line. Modular Flexplates QuickTime, Cleveland, part of the ACCEL Performance Group, introduces its all-new, patent-pending Modular Flexplate for a wide variety of engines including small- and big- block Chevrolet and Ford applications. Designed to handle the stresses of high-horsepower, high-rpm engines, the flexplates are engineered for strength, accuracy and performance. A laser-cut 4130 chromoly steel center section is joined to 4130 chromoly steel ring gear segments using 18 separate 4130 pins, which are pressed as well as laser welded for strength and weight savings. LCD Competition Race Dash Auto Meter, Sycamore, Illinois, introduces its new LCD Competition Dash. Designed specifically for harsh environments, the carbon composite housing is IP65-sealed against water and dust intrusion and will easily withstand 20g of continuous vibration and 50g of shock. A 7-inch LCD panel ensures easy visibility under all circumstances. The display layout is fully configurable, and the system accommodates four programmable data bus channels. Data collection can occur at up to 1 kHz, and user-definable warnings utilize multicolor LEDs. Cast Wheel Series HRE Performance Wheels, San Diego, presents the FF15, the latest style in its FlowForm wheel series. Created using a high-tech, low-pressure cast flow-forming for new levels of precision, strength and attention to detail, the multi-spoke FF15 comes in ready-to- mount sizes for specific makes and models. The wheels are all engineered and tested to the same standards of HRE's forged products and carry TUV certification for sale in Europe and JWL/ VIA certification for sale in Japan.
