McSpadden leads the product innova- tion and management team for digital, screen and cut media, manages the tech- nical team and channel programs for the Graphics Solutions business segment. McSpadden was previously director of global marketing at Graphics Packaging International, in Atlanta, where she held various marketing leadership roles for the past nine years. McSpadden reports to Shelley Woods Whiting, who recently was appointed as vice president of marketing for Materials Group North America. Whiting oversees development and implementation of com- mercial strateg y for two business segments: label and packaging materials, and graphic solutions. Whiting most recently served as director of marketing of commercial development and sustainability for Georgia-Pacific Chemicals. McSpadden and Whiting will both be based in Mentor, Ohio. Hughes, who began with the company as CFO in 2009, now is responsible for Cooper's worldwide op- erations throughout North America, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Hughes was appointed in July to lead the company's international segment as president of international tire operations. He has three decades of experience in key finance, strategic planning and operation- al roles, with several global assignments throughout his career, according to Coo- per Tire. e company also promoted Phil Kor- tokrax to vice president of North America tire operations. Kortokrax is now responsi- ble for the strategic leadership and growth of all Cooper operations in the U.S. and Canada. Kortokrax, who now will report to Hughes, has been with Cooper for 24 years, serving in a wide range of posi- tions in information technolog y, fi- nance, sales, marketing and operations. He most recently served as vice presi- dent of manufacturing of North Ameri- ca tire operations in 2012. He will report to Hughes. Evangelos "Vange" Proimos continues as exec- utive chairman and works directly with Ostrander to develop the company's stra- tegic vision, organic and acquisition growth initiatives, and customer relationships. Ostrander joins AP Exhaust with more than 16 years experience in the automotive aermarket and OEM industries.
