"We do work for dealerships, fleets, government ser- vice vehicles, company trucks and many individuals on any given day. You never know who is going to walk through the door and what they are going to order. We do a lot of wheel, tire, and leveling kit combinations, intakes, exhausts and programmers." After years of seeing what works and what doesn't, both on the racing circuit and off, RPM Offroad has a lengthy list of products that have been tested and are thus trusted. The list includes BFG Tires, KMC Wheels, Rigid Industries Lighting, BDS Suspension, Impact by Mastercraft Safety, Mastercraft Seats, Borla Exhaust, and King Shocks, among others. Given Team RPM Offroad's success, those brands and others—including Geiser Brothers Design, Dougans Engines, Rapidtac, Rugged Radios, Borla, Sat- modo, Race Proven Alternators, Rancho Drive Train, and Sign Pros—have also become sponsors of the race team. "Hypertech, for example, has been a great company to work with offering great products and service," Matney says. "We use their gas and diesel tuners for our performance guys and the speedo cal- ibrators to get the vehicles speedometers back in check. Hypertech is constantly pushing the technology boundaries and keeping their products user friendly. "With many of our vendors, we have used their products in Baja and continue to do so on race trucks, chase trucks and pre-runners," Matney adds. "They sup- port us and we support running the best products on earth." At the end of the day, whether in the shop or in racing, it all comes down to quality and passion, Matney says. "We pride ourselves in giving the cus- tomer the best products at the best price possible and providing professional and experienced installation and diagnostics service," he says, "So the hardest part of my job is leaving the shop at the end of the day. I love getting to race and help promote my business. "For us, this isn't really a business as much as it is a lifestyle." With a booming shop business and one of the winningest desert racing teams, that lifestyle is looking better and better every day. April 2015 | Restyling & tRuck AccessoRies 21
