May 2015 n Performance & Hotrod Business n 13 Poison Spyder Joins TMG Off-road parts company Transamerican Manufacturing Group has acquired Poison Spyder Customs, maker of a variety of hardcore custom products. "I really admire what Larry McRae has done in building a predominant brand so quickly," said Greg Adler, CEO of Transamerican Auto Parts. "Poison Spyder is a great fit with our brands and our customer base. We look forward to developing the full potential of what McRae and his team have already worked so diligently upon." Along with the brand marque, TMG will also be embracing all PSC employees, according to an announcement. "There is a remarkable culture within our walls, and we look forward to welcom- ing all Poison Spyder employees to our team" said Sean Angues, president of TMG. "Poison Spyder products have always been manufactured within the United States, and we want to assure all loyal customers that this will continue to be common practice. Production within the USA is critical for the positive development of the brand, as well as ensuring high-quality products that Poison Spyder customers rightly expect." McRae noted his team "is eager to learn everything we can, and work with them to develop Poison Spyder into what we've envisioned since we acquired the company in 2009." Motor State Carries Kinser Air Filters Warehouse distributor Motor State Distributing, Watervliet, Michigan, has added the Kinser Air Filter product line to its brand selection of open wheel and stock car racing equipment. Kinser Air Filters feature a three- layer modular design that utilizes open-cell filter foam to deliver clean air to the race engine, according to the company. The filters improve throttle response, help engines live longer and increase horsepower. "Kinser Air Filters are easy to clean and maintain, cheaper to rebuild, and more flexible in changing conditions," Motor State noted in an announcement. Motor State offers the entire Kinser Air Filter product line, which is made in the USA.
