Auto Addi- tions offers a complete line of product upgrades, including 12-Volt and appear- ance packages with a specific focus on the dealership segment. Josh currently serves on the SEMA PRO council. D uring my first few months in this industry as a very young installer back in 1992 in Columbus, Ohio, I heard a car dealer ask the infamous question, "Is that product aftermarket or factory?" Of course we all know, including the car dealer, that what I was installing that day wasn't a factory product, nor was it even available from the factory. So, his real ques- tion was, "Is that product any good?" I learned that day that our industry at times has a stigma attached to it that requires us to consistently educate our cus- tomers as long as we are in this business. Yes, the popup sunroof in your 1984 Escort did leak at times, and the wiring of the first remote start did look like a ball of Christmas lights; however, the products and the manufacturers in this industry have come a long way. The important question is: have you evolved as well?
