36 a-e-mag.com • A&E OCTOBER 2016 print that follows that contour and gives an excellent finished, professional look. The last one is the Vapor foam. This is critical in the T-shirt pressing process for those that are struggling with the press lines around their image. The foam comes in a roll; you cut pieces out that are the size you need and place them in between the layers of the shirt, raising up the part of the image that needs to be pressed. This doesn't allow the press to come in contact with the entire shirt, eliminating the press lines that you are so accustomed to getting. POST-PRESS ACCESSORIES In this category, there are only a couple optional accessories, but they do help speed up your production. The big ones that we use are a cooling plate and heat gloves. The cooling plate will suck heat out of the product you place on it and expedite your cooling time. This helps a lot for flat products and only takes a minute to cool things down. The other item is a pair of heat gloves. Most of you already have some but there are still a few out there that don't. These make your job not only a lot easier but safer as well. Being able to open the press and grab your product right away leads to faster production and also saves your hands from burns by handling a product that is 400 degrees. CONCLUSION We discussed a few different options for accessories at each part of the pressing phase of sublimation. There are more options out there, but these are some of the best ones that lend themselves to faster production and in the end, more money in your pocket. Please call your supplier and ask about these and other great time-saving accessories. You'll be glad you did!
