Keep in mind that the paneling's size will require small-format shops to upgrade to mid-format equipment such as the Saw- grass Virtuoso VJ 628 printer (24.8-inch media width) and the Geo Knight DK32 heat press (26-by-32-inch platen)—equip- ment that also allows for production of floor mats, car mats and other popular mid-size products. MOUSEPADS WITH TAN RUBBER BACK Already one of the highest volume prod- ucts in the sublimation industry, mouse- pads just got better. A new twist on the classic mousepad with a black rubber back, mousepads with a tan rubber back look fantastic because the light-colored backing dramatically improves the color brightness of the sublimated polyester face of the pad. The new tan-backed pads come in all of the shapes and sizes of the traditional black- backed pads—coasters are also available. PERSONALIZED PLAYING CARDS Now you can produce a one-of-a-kind deck of professional-looking playing cards that features a favorite photo, colorful graphic or monogram. Pre-printed for gaming on the front side (face) and imprint- able on the white backside, the 2 ½-by-3 ½-inch cards come in ganged sheets of nine to make production time quick and easy. In addition, a sublimatable box is included that can be customized to match. A&E AUGUST 2017 • a-e-mag.com 23
