S I G N & D I G I T A L G R A P H I C S • March 2018 • 95 DTG PRINTERS AND PRINT/CUT MACHINES Melco, Westminster, Colorado, now offers the SureColor F2100 from Epson, and a selection of vinyl print/cut machines from Roland. The new SureColor F2100 is a big step forward in direct to garment T-shirt printing. Up to two-times faster print speeds than its predecessor, the F2000, and a new automated maintenance sys- tem are just two key features that any serious T-shirt shop can appreciate. The F2100 is purpose-built to produce one-off and small batch t-shirt orders, and it does that job very well. One thing that really makes this machine stand out from the crowd — print quality. Not only is it fast, but the color and resolution are stunning, certain to exceed the expectations of the most discerning customers. Melco is also a reseller for several top- selling vinyl cutter models, from basic vinyl cutting machines like the GS-24, to the high-end, larger print-cut machines, like the Roland TrueVIS VG-640. These machines are designed for creating anything from a basic, one-color decal to the most striking prints used on vehicle wraps and other wide-format applications. For information, visit www.melco.com. PRINT PROOF SOFTWARE GMG, Tübingen, Germany, introduces its proof control soft- ware for digital printing future-proof with ver- sion ProofControl 2.4. GMG ProofControl can be used to import and verify control strips for print standards. If the proof corresponds to the target values, then a label is printed out as a seal of approval and is attached to the proof. This is how proofs can be objectively measured and serve as a legally binding basis for an order. GMG ProofControl can be customized even further in version 2.4. Independently created color rule sets can thus be saved as templates and applied to any output standards. This makes packaging printing easier, where individual adjustments are part of everyday business. Templates for ISO12647-7:2016 and FOGRA PSD 2016 are already pre-defined. ROSE GOLD COLOR SHEET Rowmark, Findlay, Ohio, announces the release of a new Rose Gold brushed metallic finish, offered in several of Rowmark's popu- lar product lines including FlexiBrass, LaserMax, and LaserMark. The new engravable and UV-LED printable Rose Gold sheets can be used for interior signage, personal identifica- tion, trophies, awards, plaques and more. Rose Gold is offered in a premium brushed metal finish and comes in 24 1 / 8˝ x 48 ¾˝ sheet sizes. For information, visit rowmark.com. DYE-SUB TRANSFER PAPERS LexJet, Sarasota, Florida, intro- duces its line of dye-subli- mation transfer papers, LexJet InFuze. The line includes four new papers for a variety of applications, including textile, apparel, rigid sub- strate and multipurpose use. Transfer paper is a vital element in the dye-sublimation printing process. LexJet developed the InFuze line of dye-sub transfer papers with a proprietary microporous ink-receptive coating that handles and performs better than other papers on the market. The microporous coating is different because when the ink is printed, it sits on top of the paper, rather than soaking into the paper, like other that are considered "swellable." The LexJet InFuze line of papers won't cockle the way others do, and it's a lay-flat, fast- dry solution that makes transferring easier. The coating also helps to minimize ghosting of the image, even with heavy ink loads. For information, visit www.lexjet.com.
