66 a-e-mag.com • A&E JUNE 2018 Holmes Custom Launches New Division: 904 Custom Holmes Custom, a rubber stamp, sign, and corporate awards company, launched a new division, 904 Custom, on March 15. The transition was in the works for up to 18 months. The division stems from its Etsy store that has offered person- alized products such as stamps, embossers, cutting boards, pet accessories, and more since 2014. In that time, it has acquired nearly 18,000 followers. The Etsy store will continue to act as the main source in order to introduce customers to the new brand, however, as President and CEO Bryan Croft points out, "It makes more sense to have another source where if someone thinks, 'Well, they sell one particular product here, what else do they do?' there is a better connection between all of our divisions. "What we're trying to leverage is we do a lot of products. You might have purchased an engraved cutting board, but if you really want to see more, yes, you can stumble through our Etsy store, or you can go to our website and see everything in one place." He adds, "I think if we want to build a multi-million-dollar brand, it makes sense to have other places beyond an Etsy store." Coastal Business Supplies Launches Rebrand On April 12th, Coastal Business Supplies announced through an email campaign that "a brand new Coastal" was approaching its debut. Here, the company introduced the new logo, color scheme, and tagline; as of May 3rd, it officially flipped the switch on its new website design and updates. According to a blog post published on the company's website, this effort is the first since its inception 28 years ago. "It's time for a facelift to better reflect who we are and our unwavering commitment to our customers," it says. In an interview with A&E, Web Content Manager Jennifer Sanders elaborates on this motive: "The rebrand is more than just a logo, color change, and website (redesign) – it ensures that we adhere to our mission to … empower our customers to grow their businesses." The new logo and color scheme, for example, replace what has traditionally been blue or black with a vibrant orange and includes the addition of multi-colored confetti scat- tered throughout its banners and visuals. Three Honored with Service Awards at Gyford StandOff Systems Gyford StandOff Systems honored three of its employees for their 10 years with the company: Tom Fanlo, client solu- tion specialist; Robert Borden, tech lead; and Rachel Maclean, administrative assistant. Awards were handed out at one of the company's quarterly safety meetings. "The Gyfords have afforded me the opportunity to grow with the company in ways that have fulfilled me personally and professionally," Borden says. "They have given me a voice in the development of the company's products and processes that other companies may not have allowed. They have treated me like family for the last 10 years and I look forward to many more of the same with them."
