Ishizuka succeeds Rokus van Iperen, who is retiring after six years in the role. Ishizuka, previously president and chief operating officer for Canon USA, takes over an organization that has operations in 120 countries, employs approximately 18,000 people and con- tributes about a quarter of Canon's global revenues annually. Israel-based 3D printer company MASSIVit Printing Technologies announces the hiring of Kevin Sykes as its new president for North America, and the company also says it is opening a North American subsidiary that will be located in Alpharetta, Georgia. The company's U.S. location will include operations in strategy, sales, marketing, operations and customer support for both the flagship MASSIVit 1800 printer and the recently launched MASSIVit 1500 Exploration 3D printer. Gilman, Connecticut- based foam board manufacturer Gilman Brothers announces the hir- ing of Voula Giannakopoulos as the company's newest business development leader. A veteran of the wide- and grand-format digital printing markets, Giannakopoulos comes to Gilman Brothers with more than 25 years of professional experience. With a background in production management and scheduling, as well as client relations and material negotiation, she is adept at working with all levels of the supply chain, her new company says. Middletown, Ohio-based Magnum Inks & Coatings, makers of aqueous and UV printing inks and coatings, announces the hiring of Eric Cathie as its new technical director. Cathie has 17 years of industry experience, with expertise in flexography, offset lithography, specialty ink formula- tion, UV/LED formulation, and flexible packaging applications.
